New Vegan Restaurant 'Tell Your Friends'

New Vegan Restaurant 'Tell Your Friends'

Last Thursday Made in Chelsea siblings and Vegan icons Lucy and Tiffany Watson followed their father down the restaurant route, with their new Vegan restaurant entitled Tell Your Friends

Tell Your Friends is an ode to the famous sisters’ socialite connections and business cunning. Offering the residents of the New Kings Road pure vegan fayre in post-1970 Malibu-chic surroundings in a much needed health injection to an area with an overwhelmingly meat and dairy-laden restaurant scene.

Taking the pretension out of Vegan food, without scrimping on the Skinny Prosecco and stellar wine, the opening party offered guests a delicious selection of what guests can expect after its official opening on May 1.

From Chicken Bites made out of a scandalously meaty jackfruit with a golden hemp and sunflower crumb, to breaded banana blossom Fish & Chips, guests indulged without guilt surrounded by the bright young things of Chelsea and the tinkering of glasses.

Speaking of glasses the lavishly stocked bar is as creative in its drinks menu as its edible offerings. A Rose Petal Martini & Rhubarb Royal was particularly popular on the warm, sunny evening, and was well enjoyed in the naturally-lit space of the conservatory. And for those celebrating ‘Thirsty Thursday’ in a slightly different way, a selection of cold pressed juices and power shots awaited the more disciplined.

Lucy and Tiffany greeted and entertained guests as they mingled between the gossip friendly booths, lower tables and swanky bar area. The girls also welcomed a number of famous faces to the opening, including Lottie Moss, Christabel Milbanke as well as a smattering of the Made in Chelsea cast making an appearance to toast their new venture.

What is clear is that Tell Your Friends can be both a dining experience and a centre for Chelsea nightlife. The back of the restaurant is all polished wood, rainforest tones and neon motifs, whilst the front is naturally lit by the conservatory that leads to a cosily planted outdoor area, making it a destination for breakfast lunch and dinner, followed by drinks, and maybe even a dance.

A much needed addition to SW6, Tell Your Friends proves that a restaurant can be health conscious whilst retaining its sparky sex appeal. So if you’re looking for a place to welcome in the summer months in style, whether it’s for a hearty healthy brunch or lunch, or a delicious date night, you better tell your friends about Tell Your Friends.
